Rule Proposal 24 - Code of Conduct: Appearance

Just as in life, one would not walk around town nude, one, in Nomic, should not be overly offensive in one's appearance to others.

This rule would restrict one's outward appearance (Hereto known as an "Avatar") to one that does not depict nudity, perversion, or gore, so the forum may remain presentable to a larger audience

Vote AYE on the condition that gore is specified a little. Would Penta's avatar be considered too gory?

This would require subjective interpretation, as with most moralistic/judgemental proposals.

I quite like my avatar and ill not vote yes on any proposal that forbids me from having it. I myself do not consider it too gory.

hmm skit kinda has a point.

I'm sticking with no. You could always boycott Pentadragon's proposals out of spite, but honestly... this feels like a personal attack, and I'm surprised so many people support it.

It's not a personal attack. It just so happens that Penta's avatar breaks this rule. I would vote yes whether penta had an annoying avatar or not.

So in other news... has anyone else discovered that this site has a gallery that you can choose your avatar from? Never really seen that implemented on other sites I've been on.
