Upon the passing of this proposal, the current form of currency shall be expanded to include Gold and Bronze coins. Ten Bronze coins shall equal one Silver Coin. Five Silver Coins shall equal One Gold Coin. So 50 bronze = 5 silver = 1 gold pieces.

I don't feel this is necessary, and it may make transactions more complicated than we want them.

Nah. You got it mixed up (like i did, lol).
It should be 10 bronze = 1 silver, and 5 silver = 1 gold. Therefore, the full ratio for bronz:silver:gold would be 50:5:1, not 10:5:1...
If you fix the first post, I'll Vote AYE.

EDIT: What Lord Gurgi said.

Mokina: This is really so we do not end up getting fractions of a silver coin and such.

I feel like there isn't much reason to have less than a silver coin, considering that the smallest of small houses still costs 10 of them.

I'd expect people to eventually want to create items of less value. I mean does it make much sense to have a carrot equal even 1/50th of a house?

Perhaps so, but I was imagining Nomia as taking a somewhat abstract view of small items like carrots.

True, I cannot argue with that. I just felt that it would be nice to have something smaller than silver coins so players would not use fractions of coins if they wanted to make/buy a cheap item.

vote:YES, it makes sense to me, in real life, you don't just get purchases rounded to the next dollar, it goes X dollars and Y cents.

In this case it would be X Golds, Y silvers and Z Bronze coins

I think Platinum would be much.

If we were to do that, it would be:

10 bronze coins = 5 silvers = 2 golds = 1 Platinum, just a bit too much, for my taste.

No, Penta posted the wrong formula.

Look in the Brainstorm (I think) for more detail.

Actually, since I was the one to come up with it in the Brainstorming subforum, and I (along with Lord Gurgi) was the one to correct Penta when he made a mistake on the Proposition, I can affirm that chenhsi's calculations are correct.

That's correct. However, if 10 bronze = 1 silver; how many bronze pieces are equal to 5 silver? Thus:
50 Bp = 5 Sp = 1Gp or 50 Bp = 1 Gp; etc.
