Amend rule Prop. 8 (FAILED)

currently reads:
"If a rule proposal would be amended, the said proposal's voting window shall be reset to 72 hours on the defeat or approval of the amendment."

I propose the following amended version if it is passed:
"When a proposal has any pending amendments, said proposal's voting window shall be put on hold. The voting window for said proposal shall close 72 hours from the time of the passage or defeat of all of it's pending amendments."

That's very meta.

Vote: No, because I think amendments apply only to existing rules. You have to resubmit rule propositions if you want to amend them.

Vote: No because you are ammending a rule proposal that currently appears as though it will not even get passed.

Vote NAY. Not really a point in having this rule, when you can just resubmit an edited proposal.
